I also said that it's Hedda's community and he can do what he wants with it. All I'm saying is that if anyone thinks this is going to help the perv problem, you're wrong. And if anyone thinks Elftown is going to become an artist community again, well, it looks like you're wrong too. The image Elftown creates for itself is what Elftown will become. This fantasy fairy stuff naturally attracts a younger crowd. A younger crowd is naturally driven by their hormones at times. Adding things like a flirt function are going to attract an even more hormonal driven crowd

To me, it seems like this flirt function is either a blatent attempt to convert Elftown into a dating community or a half-assed attempt to control the perv problem. If it's a half-assed attempt to control the perv problem, then let me explain exactly what will happen--the perv problem will get worse. Simple as that. If you don't believe me, just sit and watch. 2005-10-11 [Whim]: Well, what people must remember about Elfpack is that it was originally created to attempt to lure the troublemakers of Elftown away. It worked, for a time, but for whatever reason, the pervs and such either came back here or started using both. So Elfpack does still serve its purpose, however, Elftown continues to get driven downward towards Elfpack's level. Something we must also remember is that while Elfpack was never intended to be an artist community, some might say that it is just as successful at exposing and encouraging artistic minds as Elftown ever was.
